Yoga

Twenty years on the mat, and counting.

Yoga found me in high school when I was looking for an edge in other sports. What started as a flexibility tool quietly became something much more: a constant, a compass, a place to return to no matter what life brought my way. Over twenty years later, that relationship has only deepened.

The practice has built me up physically, in strength, flexibility, and balance, but its quieter gifts have meant even more. The mental clarity, the focus, the ability to self-soothe in hard moments. Yoga has been there through all of it, and sharing that with students is something I never take for granted.

To honor that commitment, I completed two teacher training programs: an RYT 200 at CorePower Yoga and an RYT 300 at Kindness Yoga. Both were transformative, grounding me in yoga philosophy, anatomy, asana, pranayama, meditation, and teaching craft. I've since gone deeper into the restorative side of the practice, completing both Level 1 and Level 2 Restorative Teacher Training, which shaped how I think about the body, healing, and the importance of rest.

I've had the joy of teaching heated, power, vinyasa, and restorative classes to students of every background, age, and experience level. Each class is a reminder of why I started and why I keep showing up.
